Blake McKibbin, MD

Dr. McKibbin received his medical degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham-School of Medicine in 1999 and a Bachelor of Science in Zoology from Auburn University in 1995. Dr. McKibbin has a strong interest in general and laparoscopic surgery, endoscopy, colonoscopies, breast and colon cancer, laparoscopic antireflux procedures, laparoscopic hernia repairs, and laparoscopic gastrointestinal procedures. He also specializes in single incision laparoscopic surgery (SILS). Dr. McKibbin holds professional memberships in the American Society of Breast Surgeons and a Fellow in the American College of Surgeons. A few of Dr. McKibbin's notable accolades include Best Bedside Manner Award for General Surgery – March 2016, First Place Best Bedside Manner Award – 2017, 2018 & 2019, named to America’s Best Doctors – 2020, and named Top Surgeon for Fishersville, VA – 2022.
